First Frank Gehry designed project ever completed in New York City. The project had 1,450 curtain wall units, of which 1,349 are unique in shape and size. This is the first “Frank Gehry” designed project ever completed in New York City. The project had 1,450 curtain wall units, of which 1,349 are of completely unique shape and size. Phase one of this project involved verification of the placement of the superstructure concrete. Each slab needed to be verified for curtain wall installation. Phase two of our involvement required layout and construction engineering services for intricate glass curtain wall system.

Manhattan Surveying verified the placement superstructure concrete, verified the edge of each slab of concrete for installation of every unique curtain wall. We also provided construction engineering services. Our 3-D design was followed throughout the construction process and carried through in layout references for the curtain wall construction.
