This 33-story landmark building was the New York headquarters of Paramount Pictures. Built in 1926, the building housed a 3,660-seat theater, which was used for movies and live entertainment until 1966. The opening of a new entertainment space created an opportunity to remove the lobby from Broadway and place it on the northside of West 43rd Street.
